Metal Spinning & Roll Forming Services
At Precise Metal Products, we provide roll forming of steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium for advanced manufacturing customers in a number of industries. Roll forming capabilities include edge rolling, forming, and roll bending using CNC high speed equipment. Because roll forming is a continuous process, it is possible to achieve tight radii and complex profiles that would fracture high strength alloys if performed using a stamping process.
Material up to 14" in width can be formed on our 70 ton roll former. Expanders are used to refine formed profiles or tubing to the precision tolerances required by the aerospace, defense, medical, and other manufacturing industries. Using precision roll forming methods and high quality tooling, we are able to meet tolerances as tight as ±0.005". Testing and inspection capabilities include dimensional inspection using CMM equipment as well as material testing such as salt spray, solvent, and adhesion testing, in accordance with applicable industry standards. Our quality management system is backed by ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100C certifications and extensive experience in the metal forming industry.
Additional services include part marking, adhesive bonding, assembly, chem-film application, and painting. Custom tooling can be designed and fabricated in 12 to 16 weeks, while production lead times average 8 weeks. For additional information about our roll forming capability, see the table below, or contact us directly.
